Brian Mcknight R&B singer arrives Lagos ahead of classic concert

American R&B singer, Brian Mcknight, has finally arrived Lagos ahead of the 3rd edition of the Butterscotch Evenings. The 16-time Grammy Awards nominee was spotted at the the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos some hours ago. 
The event which was scheduled to hold on December 23, 2015, had been postponed, causing the multi-platinum singer to postpone his arrival as well.
A statement by the event's publicist, Bobby Taylor, had explained that the postponement had been due to the negligence of a booking agent, Mr. Bunmi Jinadu, of Interglobe Entertainment, through whom all financial transactions regarding McKnight, the Butterscotch Evening 2015 headliner, were made.
"Butterscotch Evenings has successfully acquired a reputation for delivering the very best of entertainment; never in time past has it failed to deliver the promised performing entertainers to its guests. For the first time we regret to inform you that one of our acts; Brian McKnight will be unable to attend this evening’s event", the statement read. Mcknight alongside the likes of Waje, Praiz, Seyi Shay, Bill Bellamy, Johnny Gill and many more would be gracing the classic concert. The elite concert is set to take place tomorrow, Saturday, 30th January 2016 at Eko Convention Center, at 7pm prompt.

Militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, have reportedly agreed to dialogue with the Federal government to find a solution to the lingering crisis in the Niger Delta region. This development is contained in a statement released today by the spokesman for the dialogue group, Ballantyne Agiri. The statement in part reads: “The body has collectively and willingly agreed to heed the clarion call of eminent Nigerians and international community to dialogue with the Federal Government. The federal government should from the inception of the dialogue rule out from the agenda any monthly monetary inducement or stipend for the NDA. The federal government should be ready for structural changes that should be human and development oriented.
