Makeup artist, Banke Meshida Lawal (banksbmpro) reportedly witnessed a car crash on the 3rd mainland bridge, Lagos today, December 31.
With a few hours to 2016, accidents are becoming more and more rampant, as every new day brings harrowing experiences of car crashes all over the city.
Ms. Lawal who is reported to have witnessed the accident had this to say:
"3rd Mainland Bridge. The car spun several times and hit the side of the bridge #burst tyre. Thank God the driver was not speeding!! Good driving skills too! Wow! It's the last day of 2015. God pls keep us all Safe! Hmmmm."
Going by the reports, there were no lives lost, with the driver showing excellent driving skills, averting a more tragic incident.
As the year draws to a close, drivers and passengers are advised to make use of all precautions neccessary.

Militant group, Niger Delta Avengers, have reportedly agreed to dialogue with the Federal government to find a solution to the lingering crisis in the Niger Delta region. This development is contained in a statement released today by the spokesman for the dialogue group, Ballantyne Agiri. The statement in part reads: “The body has collectively and willingly agreed to heed the clarion call of eminent Nigerians and international community to dialogue with the Federal Government. The federal government should from the inception of the dialogue rule out from the agenda any monthly monetary inducement or stipend for the NDA. The federal government should be ready for structural changes that should be human and development oriented.
