 Dozens hurt in India bridge collapse research still going on, Rescue workers cut through parts of a partially collapsed overpass in Kolkata, India. A long section of a road overpass under construction collapsed in a crowded Kolkata neighborhood, with tons of concrete and steel slamming into midday traffic, killing several and injuring many.

Ronaldo becomes first athlete to hit 200-million mark on social media

Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, has become the first athlete to break the 200 million followers mark on social media. The Portuguese superstar now has 109.7 million followers on Facebook, 49.6 million on Instagram and 40.7 million on Twitter. Social media tracking database, Hookit, confirmed that Ronaldo crossed the 200 million threshold on Tuesday, when his combined total hit 200,058,494. Ronaldo, who averages 135,000 new followers a day, also has more followers than the combined total of basketball stars LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and Steph Curry, who combine to garner 187 million.
